PHOTOGRAPHY

The mission of the Photography Club is to provide a supportive environment for interested photography students to share their creativity, knowledge and passion for photography. The club holds regular meetings and discussions and organizes events such as; photo-walks, field trips, museum and gallery visits. Members will also explore the possible opportunities for photography projects in collaboration with other campus departments, organize peer to peer portfolio reviews and explore the possibilities of exhibitions on and off campus.

COOKING

Cooking Club is a fun, relaxed environment to make food and try new recipes. Students choose the recipes and explore what is interesting to them. Some techniques that we use to cook with our Junior kids are Cooking without fire, Cold foods recipes etc.

IT CLUB

The aim of the IT Club is to help students understand up to date computer technology. Review current hardware and software products and exploring different areas of interest. It also helps them create a social environment where students with various technology experiences come together and share information with one another. IT Club helps students share and explore their passion for technology. Students learn the programming concepts through a platform called- CPP, JAVA, Android Studio, Website Layout Development using Dreamweaver, XML & CSS, 3D Modeling using Google - Sketchup & Assembling Computer System. Students are engaged in learning the best & the most productive use of computers. It is here that the future IT experts are formed.

PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT

Personality means the set of qualities which makes a person distinct from the other. When such qualities emerge in the growing age of children, it is known as child personality development. Now when the pace of the world is advancing, it has become very crucial to make your child stand out from the rest and be unique. The Personality Development Club focuses on bringing out unique qualities in each child at GDGPSK. We conduct role-plays, activities, and much more to focus on Kinesics learning.

SEWA

Socially useful and productive work has been recognized as a very important in the education of children. The present education scenario is bookish in character and far away from the needs of the society. Hence we have a space for SEWA in our curriculum. SEWA also leads to personality development and social transformation.

ROBOTICS & SCIENCE CLUB

Robotics & Science Club Club guides students through the exciting world of robots. Students define what a robot is (and what it isn’t!), study the myths that surround robots, examine how robots are used in movies and stories, and consider how robots assist humans. Experts in the field of robotics help students learn more about artificial intelligence and what the future holds for humans and machines.

Students focus on the origins, applications, and latest trends in robotics and learn how robots are built and controlled. They then move to exciting group challenges where they try to make a robot successfully complete a task. No previous computer coding experience is required, and no materials are required for participation. The Robotics Club is open to students in Grade - 6 to Grade - 12.

Science Club gives students hands-on experience working with the scientific method, planning experiments, and observing the world in which we live. This club encourages members to identify the ways science affects their lives and their community. Students are taught the proper components of a science fair presentation so they can compete in a local science fair or share their project with other club members at the end of the school year.

ART & CRAFT CLUB

Art & Crafts Club is a fun way for students to learn about making household objects into works of art. The activities are easy, thought-provoking, and educational. Crafts explore themes such as culture, science, and math. Through these crafts, students learn background information about each of the themes. Upon completion of an activity, students are encouraged to share their artwork with their peers, friends, and their teachers. Arts and Crafts Club is available to students in grades 1st through 12th.

THEATRE & DANCE CLUB

"The arts make us feel connected to one another and less isolated. Through the arts we share an emotion and that sharing connects us with each other and we realise we all feel the same emotions. The arts are our last hope. We find our identity and make it easier and more pleasurable to live and they also give us wisdom" - Arthur Miller.

We are immensely proud of the Theatre and Dance Club at GDGPSK and the impact it has had on our school community. The Performing Arts plays a key role in our students’ personal development; over the last ten years the subjects of Music, Dance and Drama have provided all of our students with so many rich and varied opportunities to experience the arts, which develops creative, confident and capable students, who go out into the world and impress others with their abilities.

MUSIC CLUB

"Music is the greatest communication in the world. Even if people don't understand the language that you're singing in, they still know good music when they hear it."

There could be no truer saying than this.Music unites people in far many ways than we can even imagine.The Music Club at GDGPSK provides students an opportunity to learn the different facets of music whether its Western, Indian or any style as long as it unites & helps children to grow. It adds to a students skill sets & provides more alternatives for child's futures. In todays ever changing world music has become the soother of the soul.
